I’m really pissed at myself for being so horribly freakishly disorganised and excessively procrastinating.

It’s like i’m a certain position in life right now, spiritually, mentally, physically and intellectually and I know I would so much better for myself if Iwas at the higher position. However, to get to that higher position I need to sacrifice, manage my time and stop daydreaming.

Anyway, I listened to this lecture by Brother Nouman Ali Khan on wasting time and it’s nice:

  • hahahaha I look exactly like that! Aren’t I pretyyyy???? MashAllah! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Farooq: It’s not just about the donuts man… I’ve been slacking in everything lately.

  • farooqk says:

lol the donuts bit was just a joke! πŸ˜›

  • okay. Also, I know in my case that higher position is much much better, i just need to strive harder to attain it.

oh and no dissing the girl! πŸ˜€ I think she has nice pretty yellow teeth πŸ˜‰

  • farooqk says:

maybe it is much better, but if you push yourself too hard youll really end up falling lower! so chillax! πŸ˜‰

  • farooqk says:

your brother looks kinda bored! πŸ˜›

  • he isn’t my blood brother silly :P, i meant, ‘brother in islam’.

  • Ummi says:

    assalam alaikum

Jhoot bol kar jeetnay se behtar hay kay insaan such bol kar har jaye. Ali Talib(ra)

Bhaion aur Bahno jhoot sey bacho! Allah na farmaya “Lanatullah-e- Alal Kazebeen” yani Jhootay par Allah ki Lanat aur “Lanatulllah-e-Alaz Zalemeen” yani Zalim par Allah ki Lanat. Ye quran may kai baar aya hay.

Ab Allah ki Lanat ka Matlab Jahanum mey entry. Jhoot bolna kisi tarha jayez Nahi aur Jo Shaks zulm karay us ka bhe Janat me dakhla haraam! Zulm ka matlab Khali Qatal nahin. Kisi ka dil dukhana , os par jhotay Ilzaam lagana bhe bad tareen Zulm hay. Mazloom ki baddua Allah foran sunta hay aur usa kisi wasilay k zarorat nahi. Allah hum sab ko ayse logon me shamil honay se bachaye aur Naik Hidayat Day.ameen

  • SAWJ says:

@Ummi: It’s Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.), not Ali Talib. Talib (A.S.) was Hazrat Ali’s (A.S.) brother, eldest son of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and the same age as Rasoolullah (S.A.W.W.). He was martyred on the way to the battleground of Badr by the Kuffar for praising the Prophet (S.A.W.W.). Thanks for sharing the hadees.

    @PD: Not cleaning, Macleaning! πŸ˜›

  • Ummi says:

Majority of Muslims know Ali (ra) as Ali Talib or ali bin Talib so they will not get confused.

  • karachiwali says:

girl, its good to daydream at times…u wont achieve anything unless you dream

  • SAWJ says:

@Ummi: Which planet are these Muslims from? πŸ˜‰ They should take the name that is correct, shouldn’t they? For me, I’ve never seen or heard Ali Talib or Ali bin Talib before. It’s always either Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) or Ali Ibne Abu Talib (A.S.).

  • Okay, this better not turn into an argument about ‘correct names’.

KW: i won’t even achieve anything either if i keep on wastng time. 😦

  • Ummi says:

OK Sawj you won.there is no need to show extremism here. I didn’t deny your statement about Ali’s brother did I? technically Ali Talib is not incorrect. What’s the difference between Benazir Bhutto and Benazir Binte Bhutto? For arabs she would be Benazir Binte Bhutto. Anyway, can you ignore it as a human error and move on?

  • Absar says:

You don’t need to sacrifice to get to that position. Not always anyway. You just need to be smart. And connect with people. Most employees are below-average dorks who have little interest in achieving targets. So if you’re remotely even normal, you’ll get there.

  • SAWJ says:

@Ummi: How the heck does that make me an extremist? πŸ˜€

And it would still be Ali Abu Talib (A.S.) πŸ˜› Or simply Ali Imran (A.S.)

    @PD: Sorry! πŸ˜›

  • farooqk says:

ill listen to him when i cant sleep, i bet itll help πŸ˜‰

  • sawj and ummi: quit it you both!

Ummi: Again jazakallah khair for the reminder, although it [sadly] takes me about half an hour to decipher urdu font in its real form or in roman letters. My mind just scrambles apparently!

I have a question, what does ‘muflish’ mean?

Absar: Although this isn’t about work, the example fits quite well. However, I know the position I’m in, I need to sacrifice some things. Small things though so it won’t be that big of a deal hopefully.

farooq: lol, you’re gonna use him to put you to sleep?

  • Ummi says:

    Waiyak! Waiyak!

Muflis means poor. I was referring the following hadith of the Prophet(pbuh).

Narrated AbuHurayrah: Allah’s Apostle (peace_be_upon_him) said: Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Prophet) said: The poor of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire. Sahih Muslim: Book 31, Number 6251

These hadith is for the people who present themselves as “pious” infront of others by writing /speaking about Islam while in real they are hypocrites since they hurt others, violate others rights, talk lies and break promises. They are worst infront of Allah and Allah will take away all of their good deeds and give it to others. You will see such people around busy in talking just to leave good impression on others while in real they are the biggest fool since they can’t cheat Allah(swt). Allah curse on such people and they will never be blessed. They even start facing Allah’s azaab in this world as well[it’s in hadiths and quraan!not in my words]. There are numerous such stories around. The prophet(saw) in a hadith said that a Human heart is more important than Kaaba and it would be prefered to save heart than a Kaba. In short human rights are more important infront of Allah than His own rights.

  • Ummi says:

Farooqk, Islam is like a bed of roses therefore it’s not surprising if you fall asleep. The cricketer salim malik was an insomniac but once he went for a three day trip with Tableeghis and he fell intro a profound sleep. This is the blessing of Allah that even an insomniac was able to sleep well. Insha Allah one day you will also be able to follow same path-Ameen

  • Ummi says:
